About Scotland Island and the Western Foreshores

Scotland Island and the Western Foreshores are serene and safe. Heaven for kids and animals and pretty good for adults as well! The roads are mainly unmade. The area is generally hilly and has many trees which are predominantly spotted gums.

Access to the area is generally via Church Point. The closest point from Church Point to Scotland Island is approximately 400 metres.

The offshore community is very special. It is a friendly place where you can quickly feel part of the community if you wish or you can be very private.

While being part of Sydney the residents of this area enjoy a lifestyle greatly different from that of their "mainland" neighbours. Scotland Island and Bays have a great sense of community and a somewhat rural atmosphere.

It is made up of people from all walks of life from all over the world and of all ages. This makes for an exciting environment where you are likely to feel comfortable just being yourself.

Dogs and cats are allowed however they do have to be kept to the regulations of Pittwater Council. Dogs and cats are forbidden in the National Park so you have to be vigilant on the Western Foreshores.

The area comes under the jurisdiction of Pittwater Council and they can be found at www.pittwater.nsw.gov.au .

Since this area is water access only there are a number of questions which do not normally arise when looking at property so please look at the FAQ tab for more information or click here.
